Today’s aggressive camshaft profiles require advanced valvetrain components to efficiently control valve movement. Lunati has been in the valvetrain business for over four decades and manufactures a full line of street and track proven lifters, pushrods, valve springs, rocker arms and timing sets. Using the latest in technological advancements, Lunati engineers have developed perfectly matched valvetrain components for their line of camshafts in order to endure extreme racing conditions and deliver winning performance.
Hydraulic Race Lifters
All of the components of the Lunati Hydraulic Race Lifters are held to higher tolerances for superior performance. The plunger has a much tighter fit to the body, which reduces the amount of leaked pressure, keeping the lifter stiffer and more responsive. The one-piece pushrod seat is heat treated, which prevents the seat from damage and is equipped with a heavy duty snap ring to reduce wear and increase durability. The Hydraulic Race Lifters have a pre-load that can be set to .000″-.030″ and are the best option for racers looking to go beyond a stock replacement lifter.
High RPM Hydraulic Roller Lifters
High RPM Hydraulic Roller Lifters are designed for extreme street and all out racing applications. At over 6500 RPM, the hydraulic internals of a standard roller lifter are susceptible to valve float, which robs the engine of horsepower and can
cause serious damage to the valvetrain. Offering increased durability and reliability, these lifters are specifically developed to handle applications producing over that volatile 6500 RPM point.
SIGNATURE Series Hydraulic Roller Lifters
The Signature Series Hydraulic Roller Lifters were specifically designed to eliminate valve float by performing similarly to solid roller lifters while still providing the long, maintenance free life of a hydraulic roller lifter. These lifters are best suited for extreme racing conditions that require the ultimate in performance and reliability.
SOLID Vertical Bar Pressurized Oiling Roller Lifters
Developed for serious racing applications, the pressurized oiling system of these lifters provides constant lubrication through the axle and to the needles. This reduces wear in the axle and increases the durability of the lifter. Also for increased durability, all surfaces are hardened and polished, which makes the body stronger and smoother while reducing friction.
These lifters are available in standard height and +.300″ height with centered and +.180″ offset versions. The solid vertical bar roller lifters with pressurized oiling are held to higher standards than the competition for the ultimate in race lifters.
- Pressurized oiling provides lubrication through the axle to the needles
- Reduced wear in axle and increased lifter durability
- Surface hardened and polished for strength and reduced friction
- Available in standard and +.300″ heights with centered and offset versions
- Ultimate race lifters
SIGNATURE Series Valve Springs
Selecting the proper valve spring to use with your camshaft is extremely important. A wrong choice can damage your engine severely. With most camshafts that Lunati sells, they offer a perfectly matched spring that complements your valve train.
Signature Series Valve Springs are manufactured using high-tech, super-clean chrome silicon alloy materials that are held to tighter stress relief and shot peen tolerances, making them stronger and more efficient than others on the market. A micro-peening process is used to increase durability and longevity of the spring, which means you can push harder for longer. In addition, the added heat treatment reduces load loss during operation. Some springs in the series are also nitrided for racers who are looking to increase lift capacity and number of cycles over the life of a spring. The Signature Series Valve Springs are perfect for extreme stress applications such as professional drag and oval track racing.
Voodoo Aluminum Roller Rocker Arms
Introducing the new and improved Lunati Voodoo Aluminum Roller Rocker Arms. The product of extensive testing, these CAD designed and FEA optimized rockers were engineered specifically for high performance street engines. Constructed from extruded aircraft quality aluminum and CNC machined to precise tolerances, the superfinished surface increases durability and sheds oil.
They are lightweight yet strong enough to handle aggressive spring pressures and higher lift cams while featuring optimized balance of strength and reduced moment of inertia. The clipped trunnion is secured to ensure positive side-to-side location and the precision sorted needle bearings allow the rocker to withstand higher valve spring pressure. Finally, these rocker arms are clearanced for higher lift springs and camshafts. Available in a variety of ratios and diameters for Chevy, Chrysler and Ford Small and Big Blocks, as well as Olds and Pontiac applications.
- Extruded aircraft quality aluminum, CNC machined to precise tolerances
- Superfinished surface increases durability and sheds oil
- Clearance for valve springs and higher lift cams
- Optimized balance of strength and moment of inertia
Sportsman Pushrods
Sportsman Pushrods utilize a one-piece .080″ wall body that is manufactured from 4130 chrome moly steel for an overall stronger and lighter pushrod. The chrome moly is heat treated to eliminate flexing, which in turn increases durability under the stress of high lift camshafts and high-rev valve springs. Lastly, the Sportsman Pushrods are black oxide treated to prevent corrosion, making them the perfect fit for street performance and mild race applications.
SIGNATURE Series Pushrods
Made from .080″ wall carbonitrided seamless chrome moly tubing, Signature Series Pushrods are specifically designed for serious street performance and race applications. The swedged ends add material in the tip, which is vital for maximum
strength and durability. Signature Series Pushrods are heat treated to eliminate the possibility of stress fractures and then finished with a black oxide treatment, creating the ultimate option for high horsepower and high RPM engines.
Bracket Master Double Row Timing Sets
These sets are designed for adjustability and are equipped with three keyway crank sprockets that allow for a four-degree maximum advance and retard. The timing chain is a heavy duty double row that is heat treated for durability. Paired with
the induction hardened, cast iron cam gear and billet steel crank sprocket, the Lunati Bracket Master Double Row Timing Chain Sets are best for mild street performance applications.
- Equipped with three keyway crank sprockets to allow for four-degree maximum advance and retard
- Heavy duty double row timing chain, heat treated for durability
- Induction hardened, cast iron cam gear; billet streel crank sprocket
- Designed for mild street performance
Sportsman Race Double Roller Timing Sets
Building off of the extremely durable and successful Bracket Master Double Roller, Lunati designed a timing set specifically for heavy street and race applications. The Sportsman Race Roller Timing Chain Sets feature a cast iron cam gear and billet steel crank sprocket as well as four-degree adjustability, but it is upgraded with a heavy-duty, large pin, double roller chain. In addition, the .250″ double roller chain is pre-stretched and heat treated to increase strength and durability, making the Sportsman Race Timing Set capable of handling all street and race applications.
